On October 13, 2020, the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue, announced the USDA will extend meals at no charge to all students through June 30, 2021, as long as funding allows, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This means breakfast and lunch will be free to all students.
If your child would like to purchase a la cart food or beverage items in the middle school or high school, there must be prepaid funds on their meal account. There are a few ways to make prepayments:
1. On-line prepayments can be made by accessing the following link: MySchoolBucks.com
2. Send in check or exact amount of cash to be deposited into your child's account. Please make checks payable to Amherst CSD Food Service, with your child's name in the memo section. We do apologize, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and keeping our students and staff safe, we are unable to give out change, so please send the exact amount of cash to be deposited on your child's meal account.
3. Mail check or cash to: Amherst CSD Food Service Department at 55 Kings Highway, Amherst, NY 14226. Please include child's name with all prepayments.
Please submit a free/reduced meal application so the student meal accounts can be kept up to date. The application is found on the Nutrition Services home page or can be emailed or mailed to you.
